On September 10th the Dungeon Family reunited (and it felt so good) at the seventh annual ONE Musicfest in Atlanta, Georgia. Classic after classic was performed, from Goodie Mob‘s “Dirty South” to OutKast‘s “Liberation.” But one of the best moments of the night was Goodie Mob and OutKast’s 1998 hit “Black Ice.” Big Gipp gave an animated performance while Andre 3000 made his first anticipated appearance of the night. “Black Ice,” a notable single from Goodie Mob’s gold-selling album, Still Standing, is a song about going through the lows in life and trying to find a better way. The Dungeon Family didn’t slip on that metaphorical ice for long before achieving success, and for that we are eternally grateful.
